Philips PET7402/37 7-Inch Dual Screen Portable DVD Player with Car Mount Black
I purchased these about a year ago for our 2 year old. Overall I've been pleased with my purchase. For the most part this unit gets the job done (keeping her occupied). There are a couple drawbacks that I'll point out, but they're not deal-breakers in my mind.
-The cords are always a tangled mess. I suppose this is the nature of the beast, but it would be nice if they somehow combined the power and audio/video into 1 cable.
-The controls are on the bottom of the unit. This makes no sense when the top or sides of the unit are clearly more accessible when these are mounted on a car headrest.
-The unit with the DVD player won't play while it's screen side down. Not sure if this is the case for other DVD players or not.
I would still recommend this as it was one of the least expensive units when I was shopping around a year ago. It makes you wonder how our parents put up with us as kids on long trips without DVD players.
