Samsung BD-C6800 1080p 3D Blu-ray Disc Player
Waited a long time to get a blu-ray player, and this product made it worth the wait. Lots of whining from other reviewers about connecting to the internet, load time, Anynet issues, wifi issues, login issues, wah, wah, wah. Setup was easy, picture quality is incredible, load time is no longer than a DVD, app menu is intuitive and easy to navigate and manage, and connecting to the internet was a breeze.
We have multiple wireless gadgets in our household and I have connected them all to our network by using MAC addressing instead of passwords. All wireless products have a built-in MAC address that never changes. Our network appears to be "Unsecure" to our neighbors, but only the MAC addresses that have been entered into our router are allowed to connect. No passwords required.
It helps to have a Samsung TV and surround sound receiver for things to work more smoothly. I love the Anynet feature that enables all components to talk to each other. Put a disk in the player and both the receiver and TV switch to movie. One remote runs them all. Haven't tried Netflix yet, but how well it works will depend greatly on the speed and signal strength of my wireless network.
I would recommend this blu-ray player to anyone. Very pleased!
