Philips DVP3560/F7 DVD Player with 1080p HDMI Upscaling and Multimedia DiVX

Philips DVP3560/F7 DVD Player with 1080p HDMI Upscaling and Multimedia DiVX
The HD upscaling algorithm is an improvement from most any manufacturers earlier versions, Very tight image.
The Player itself is fairly minimalist in function, with really no unnecessary bells and whistles. Image quality for both HD and standard is very good, Reads AVI's from a flash drive with no problem with an easy to navigate file menu for the drive. I should note that I have a rather expensive Marantz that is several years old. Those years have made a substantial difference in image quality, the inexpensive Philips easily equals the much more expensive unit in image quality, perhaps even betters it. Also, If you are serious about Audio Quality, the Digital out is an fair improvement when feeding a quality outboard DAC. This was money well spent. No regrets whatsoever in buying this DVD player.
