I have had this unit for about two years now and use it in my classroom often for both DVDs and VCR tapes. I don't know what the other people are talking about. It works fine and I have had no problem with it. Great price at Amazon.
This is a really nice unit glad I have not thrown out all 800 VCR tapes I have now I can watch them again
