Panasonic DMP-BD85K WiFi Enabled Blu-Ray Disc Player (Black)
This is the second DMP-BD85K I have purchased. The first was connected to my main Home Theather system and I added this on teh TV in the bedroom. One of the units is connected via wireless. setup was straight forward and only took a few minutes to have it connected. The other is hard wired to my network and as in the other unit setup was straight forward and easily completed. Operation with the remote is easy and doesn't seem to have any quirks. Firmware updates seem to take awhile but not a big deal. As for any negatives they are directed at Bluray. First The BD disks seem to take awhile to load although the DVDs are just as fast as on a standard DVD player. Second, my main complaint is all the preview garbage they put on some of the BD disks. I hate that, but discovered that if you press the next chapter button, >>, on the remote 2 or 3 times quickly you can skip through the garbage and get to the main movie you wanted to watch. I'd recomend this player to anyone.
