LG BD570 Network Blu-ray Disc Player
I tried 3 of them (another brand), all the same Blue Ray player and ended up returning them. It took up to 8 minutes for a Blue Ray to start on these machines. Contact me via email and I'll give you the brand name.
The Tech's tried to tell me to try odd things, like unplug the unit and then hold the start button in (mind you this is a touch sensitive button that needs power to operate) along with some other dumb things. Nothing worked and I was told to "live with it" (second level techie) as it's not unusual to wait for a Blue ray to start. 8 minutes did not sound too bad to her.
The LG unit works fast and clear... with a wait to start time of less than 30-40 seconds on the same Blue Ray that was a slow starter on other machines.
The LG works fine and I really enjoy it.
