Toshiba BDX2000 1080p Blu-ray Disc Player
I bought this blu ray player 9 months ago and am happy with it. I initially bought it because my older sony dvd player didn't work right with my new toshiba lcd tv for some reason. I'm not sure if it works any better to get the same brand blu ray player as your tv but because of my problem with the dvd player I decided to stick with the same brand. Overall this player works really well and nicely upconverts dvd images. Blu rays look great too but I haven't tried any other blu ray players so I don't have much basis for comparison. Takes an average amount of time to load and I really don't mind the remote which everyone complains about because it looks "cheap." My only major problem is that occasionally (maybe once a month with average use) the sound will get out of sync and echoey and the only way to fix it is to turn the player off and then back on. This is not that big of a deal to me because it doesn't happen that often and I would still buy from Toshiba again.
