I like the idea of a small unit with very few knobs that can take any disc and play it, no matter where the disc is from, or whether it is blu-ray, CD, or DVD. This unit does just that so I am happy. The menu interface is much more professional than most systems I've seen: clean and minimalistic. When you power off the player it remembers where you were in the film you were just watching and returns to the same place when you power it back on - some other players forget. There is a builtin YouTube-ish application which is cludgy and difficult to use and lacks many of the control functions you would have when browsing YouTube under, say, Windows IE. As one example, when playing a DVD, the "pause", "ffwd", and "rew" buttons do as one would expect, but when using YouTube these buttons are disabled and you have to go through a two-click process to control the video you are currently watching. Hence, although I was initialy impressed by the fact that DHCP and static IP and both Ethernet/Wireless were supported, I can't say that I'll use it to watch YouTube videos. However, that's not what I bought it for so it still gets 4 stars from me.
