Toshiba BDX3000 3D-Ready Wi-Fi Blu-ray Disc Player

Toshiba BDX3000 3D-Ready Wi-Fi Blu-ray Disc Player
I got this with the 3D TV/Blu Ray Player/2 pairs of 3D glasses deal back in December, and waited till there was a firmware update to review it. Till the firmware update, I only used the player for Blu Rays (both normal and 3D), and it worked perfectly. I never had any of the problems everyone else had, with having to hardboot the system all the time. But it was because of the issues that people were having, that I didn't ever mess with the other functions (I coddled the system more than I would have normally, not wanting to have to manually unplug the player all the time). Now with upgrading the firmware from 1.4 to 1.6, I've finally tried connecting to the net, and so far both Netflix and Pandora work great! No slow down, lag or anything. So my experience has actually been all positive. I'm sure if I had gone through everything everyone else has gone through, my review would be less than stellar. But as it is, I don't have any real complaints. The 2D picture is really crisp and clear, 3D looks great, Netflix streaming looks like it could be from a DVD. WiFi connected with no problem, and it took less than 5 minutes to update the firmware, from start to finish. I was going to give it 4 stars, since Toshiba really shouldn't have released it prior to fixing the issues, but after thinking about it, my own personal experience has been 5 stars, especially now that I can take advantage of more of the available functions.
