Sony BDP-S470 3D Blu-ray Disc Player
I've had this player for about 8 months now. As soon as I bought it, I gave up any plans to build a HTPC. This internet-connected Blu Ray player already plays Blu Rays, DVDs, CDs, Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, Slacker, and more. Having lasted 8 months so far with no problems, I can be reasonably sure that it will last for a while. Load times are excellent, and Earth (David Attenborough) looks amazing. I would highly recommend this product.
I can see that there's already a new version out. I haven't looked into the Blu Ray market lately, but the only thing I would guess that the new version does better is 3D. I don't have a 3D TV, and at the time I bought this player it was only Profile 2.0 compatible. I don't know if driver updates have changed this.
