Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex TV STAJ100

Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex TV STAJ100
We love our new media device. No more Discs! I no longer have to spend time converting videos. We enjoy High Def content that plays beautifully and it is so compact that we are now considering what we should do with our other players and then what to do with all the space.
I agree with other reviews, in that the remote could use a subtitle button, but the current method does not take long and is not difficult.
The instruction manual needs to be more thorough.
When setting up and choosing video resolution settings, be sure to select the correct resolution for the cables and screen you are using, since resetting it multiple times is annoying. If the setting is wrong, all you will see is diagonal lines and you'll have to go back and forth from the internet to figure it out. I would advise looking up the settings on the internet before you start. I am a newbie in the world fo different cable capacities though.
Also purchased the Seagate Goflex 1TB portable hard drive. There are a couple different versions of this item. Make sure that you get the one with the smaller dimensions, as I thought it would fit in the player, and was told by someone at Seagate that it would fit directly into the player, but it did not. It sits beside, which is fine, but it would be perfect if it had fit in the drive bay.

These are minor issues for me that are far out weighed by the convenience, compact size, performance and time savings (because it plays so many formats that I no longer have to convert).
