Panasonic DMP-BD65 Blu-Ray Disc Player (Black)
It was time to get rid of my old player/recorder that did not work well with a recently purchased flat screen. The price was superior to Wal-Mart, Best Buy and other local retailers as well as online. With Amazon's free shipping, why not. Set up was a breeze, but to be honest, 95% of my usage will be to watch dvd's. Works great for that. The remote is easy to use. Also no need to pay outrageous price for HDMI cables. Multibridge cables from Amazon work just fine.
