Magnavox MDR515H 500GB HDD and DVD-R with Digital Tuner

Magnavox MDR515H 500GB HDD and DVD-R with Digital Tuner
There are already so many reviews I'm not sure I need to add mine; however, there are two things I haven't seen mentioned in anyone else's review . . . so:

My television is old and lacks a digital tuner. I had purchased a stand-alone converter box/tuner from Amazon last year, and it worked pretty well. But when the Magnavox arrived and I had it up and running, I discovered that I could pull in channels I couldn't receive before. I use the condo building's antenna, not cable or satellite, so nothing changed except the sensitivity, I suppose, of the Magnavox.

The second thing is I'd like to disagree with those who complain about the manual. I don't find it unhelpful or difficult to understand at all. I wouldn't rule this machine out for that reason. As long as you can read at the 7th grade level, you'll be fine.

Also, I love being able to record off the air and start to watch the show as the recording takes place, even pause and rewind without interrupting the recording.
