LG BD550 Network Blu-ray Disc Player
I picked one of these up at HHGregg last week after I got tired of the freezing issues with the Samsung BD-P2550 and I am very impressed with this blu-ray player!
I will admit that I had issues updating the firmware, but then I remembered that I removed a sticker from the top of the player that had the customer service phone number on it so I tracked it down and gave them a call and their fix (use their DNS servers to eliminate download bandwidth limitations) worked perfectly!
One thing that I would like to see is a button on the remote that automatically goes to Netcast... or even one that could take you directly to "Netflix Watch Instantly"... Call me a dreamer :).
This is definitely the blu-ray player to get if you don't want to pay extra for wireless and you aren't yet ready to step up to the 3D players!
