Channel Master CM-7000PAL Digital Video Recorder Black

Channel Master CM-7000PAL Digital Video Recorder Black
I've been thinking about purchasing one of these since I did away with cable TV 6 months ago. I finally did it and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner! This no-fee DVR allows you to record two shows at the same time and you can watch a third if you switch from watching TV through the DVR (turn off the DVR and it will still record) to watching on your TV. The over-the-air TV listings show what's on all the channels for the next 1 to 7 days, depending on the channel. I review the listings to see what's on and when, then set the recording with a couple button clicks. I watch the shows I have recorded when there's nothing I care to watch on TV. After watching a show, I delete it to make room for more recordings. The DVR will store up to 30 hours of HD TV and over 100 hours of standard definition TV. I had been using two DVD recorders and a VCR prior to this and recording was difficult to keep track of.
Set-up was very easy and the users manual is very helpful in figuring out how to use the machine. This is a great product. It seems a bit expensive, but pays for itself in less than 6 months with today's cable TV rates.
